Wolf gas range repair in Lowry

Lowry kitchens are newer than most of the ones on our list and the ranges in them are wider: forty-eight inch bodies with a griddle or a charbroiler, put in when the kitchen was built. Most of our calls here are about a module or a second oven nobody has used for years. Ring Wolf Repair Denver on (720) 575-1433 with the code off the plate.

  • More 48-inch bodies than anywhere else we cover, which means a griddle or a charbroiler on the top and a second 18-inch oven beside the main one.
  • Ranges chosen by a builder rather than a cook, so the module fitted is often not the one the household would have picked, and it shows in how little it is used.
  • Open-plan kitchens with island hoods and long duct runs, so a complaint about the range sometimes turns out to be about what is above it.

A black deck instead of stainless. The hardware underneath is the same; only what you wipe changes.

On this side of town

What the ranges here are, and what they do

The thing that makes this part of the city distinctive, from a service point of view, is width. A forty-eight inch Wolf is a different machine from a thirty-six: two ovens instead of one, a module sitting where two burners would be, and a longer run of gas pipe feeding it all. The faults are the same faults, but there is more of the range for them to happen on.

The second oven is worth a paragraph of its own. Wolf’s control chart puts a cavity of eighteen inches beside the main one on a 48-inch body, with its dial marked 150 through 500 degrees and no broil position on it. It is a genuinely useful oven and, around here, easily the least used part of the whole range. Most people discover it has a fault at Thanksgiving, which is the worst possible day to find out.

Lowry kitchens, in their words

Reviews left after Wolf calls in Lowry and the streets around it.

  • After a hail storm took the power out, only two burners would light. The spark module had caught the surge. He swapped it, then went over the rest of the ignition wiring looking for scorch marks.

    Delphine M.Regis

  • Our loft range would light on the back burners only, and the front two just hissed. Grease had bridged the spark electrodes after a summer of searing. Cleaned, regapped, and it lights first click.

    Alden P.LoDo

  • Self-clean locked the door and left it locked, with the racks still inside. He freed it, replaced the latch motor, and explained why running that cycle in a hot dry August was asking for trouble.

Asked here more than anywhere

Lowry questions, answered plainly

Nothing here is a sales answer. If the honest reply is that a repair is not worth it, that is what you will hear on the phone as well.

Do you cover all of Lowry?

The Denver side of it, which is where Wolf Repair Denver works. If you are not certain which side of the line your own street falls on, say the cross streets when you ring and you will get a straight answer on the spot rather than a visit nobody can make.

Nobody has ever used our second oven. Is that a problem?

It can become one. A cavity that never runs still collects dust, and its igniter still ages. Running it empty for half an hour once a season is the whole of the maintenance, and it is how you find out it needs attention before the day you need both ovens.

Where the van goes, and what the kitchens are like

Housing stock decides half of any job. A loft on an interior wall, a bungalow fed by the original gas line and a builder kitchen with a 48-inch body in it are three different calls before anybody has looked at the range.
